Independence & Self-Reliance have been the drivers of the 62 plus year lineage of the Sarada Magnets family, manufacturers of Industrial Magnets. The hunger for self-reliance saw the inception of their first Industrial Magnet manufacturing unit in the year 1958. Being run as a family-owned business, the company has seen 4 generations of Modest Manufacturing to Modern Manufacturing, and boasts of a worldwide clientele, spread from the far east to the far west including USA, Germany, Italy, Australia, Singapore and many more countries.
The resounding success of the organization is deeply rooted in its culture of providing customers with superior quality in products, professional service, and technical support. Whether in building patented magnetic work holding chucks, lifters, and tools that are exported to various parts of the world or in exploring innovative new technologies to be integrated across product lines, the organization focuses on customization and applicability of solutions.
The 62-year-old organization's first commercial brand, Rudra Magnets focuses on futuristic technologies to deliver the best bespoke industrial magnet solutions to global customers.

joined the 'Self Reliant' movement.
Set up the First Industrial Magnet
Manufacturing Unit as an Import
Substitute in the industrial suburb of
Eastern India (Calcutta - Kalyani).
2 years and 4 generations later, the
enterprise remains a family business
with the same independent and self-reliant
culture at its core.
Circa 1974, Mr. Raj Sarda and his two
younger brothers Mr. Binod Sarda and Mr.
Uttam Sarda, transformed their modest
business into a modern manufacturing
company with a global clientele.
In 1999, from their 2nd manufacturing unit
in South-Central India (Hyderabad), the
Sarda brothers started exporting magnetic
work holding chucks, lifters and tools to
international markets from the far east to
the far west including USA, Germany, Italy,
Australia and Singapore, to mention a few.
Circa 2000, the Hyderabad unit with its
modern machines and infrastructure, led
to their first patent in magnetic work
holding and lifting.
In 2009, they setup their third
manufacturing facility in Eastern India
(Calcutta - Sodepur) with focus on
research and development.
And since then, the company has
developed over 20 new technologies for
magnetic work holding and lifting to be
used extensively across many product lines.
Circa 2010, the 4th generation led by Mr. Dhiruj
Sarda and his two younger brothers Mr. Amit Sarda
and Mr. Vijay Sarda took over the mantle of the
company.
The brothers chose business expansion as their goal
and completed their engineering and finance
degrees, choosing to get firsthand experience of
the business workings as salaried professionals.
In 2017 they set up their 4th manufacturing facility
in Southern India (Sricity) and with it the 62-yearold
organization's first-ever commercial brand,
RUDRA MAGNETS took birth.
